1,000 FOOT CHALLENGE – CLIMB AS FAST AS YOU CAN UNTIL YOU REACH 1,000 FEET. MODERATELY AGGRESSIVE RPE 7-8

As you continue to train the various energy systems, your VO2 max will improve allowing you to cover more vertical feet in less time. This 1000 foot challenge is great to periodically add into your routine not only to challenge yourself with a difficult workout, but also evaluate your training progress. Depending on your fitness level, this challenge will take between 5 – 8 minutes.

GOAL: 1,000 FEET FOR TIME

  • 5 min easy warm up @ RPE 2
  • 5-9 min moderate-high @ RPE 7-8

    Hi I am being worked out for the past 6 months now can reach 1100ft in 15 min is my best so far

    Bullshit. That’s averaging about 300 ft a minute which is dubious at best. Post a YouTube video as proof of those times.
